Welcome to Shocery (also referred to as "GrocerySync"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and disclosed by Shocery ("we", "us", or "our") when you use our mobile application (the "App").

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, or otherwise when you contact us.

• Account Information: Email address, authentication tokens, and profile identifiers securely managed by our backend provider (Supabase).
• User Content: Shopping lists, household group data, custom grocery items, and inventory management data (Pantry items).
• Payment Data: If you upgrade to Shocery Plus, payment relies entirely on Apple App Store or Google Play Store billing. We do not store or process your raw credit card data. Active subscription statuses are managed via RevenueCat.
• Usage and Analytics: Crash reports, performance monitoring, and diagnostic metrics to help us improve the app stability.
• Location Data: If you grant GPS permissions for the "Store Discovery" feature, your coordinates are transmitted to Google Places API strictly to find nearby grocers. We do not permanently store your real-time location.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect or receive to:

• Facilitate account creation and authentication.
• Provide and maintain the App's core real-time syncing functionality across your household.
• Fulfill and manage your subscriptions (Shocery Plus).
• Generate AI-powered recipe and planner recommendations using secure third-party intelligence processing (Google Gemini).
• Send you essential administrative information (such as password resets and account verifications).

4. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with the following third-party service providers precisely to operate our App:

• Supabase: Secure cloud database and user authentication.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and receipt validation.
• Google Places API: Store location and mapping services.
• Google Gemini API: Intelligent recipe and grocery list generation.
• Resend: Delivery of transactional emails.

5. Account Deletion and Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law.

Your Right to Be Forgotten (GDPR / CCPA Compliant):
You can instantly permanently delete your account and all associated personal data directly within the Shocery App at any time by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. This permanently wipes your user profile, authentication records, and isolated lists from our servers globally.
